She holds MSc(Eng) and PhD in structural engineering. She works mostly with structural concrete and design of reinforced concrete structures. For over a decade her research has been focused on serviceability limit state design of massive concrete structures and other structural elements subjected to cracking induced by the restraint of imposed deformations. She specialises in computer-aided modelling of reinforced concrete structures for development of engineering design methods; she has co-authored several publications on this topic. The main objective of her work is to bridge research and engineering practice.<\/p>\n<p>Agnieszka J\u0119drzejewska is actively participating in the works of the international community for structural concrete, including past COST Action TU1404 on service-life design of concrete structures where she was leading a Work Group on modelling of concrete. She is an active RILEM member since 2014, contributing to the works of its TCs: 254-CMS \u201c<em>Thermal cracking of massive concrete structures<\/em>\u201d and currently 287-CCS \u201c<em>Early-age and long-term crack width analysis in RC structures<\/em>\u201d.
